I am trying to create a MOD of the upgraded Voyager seen in the Endgame episode. I have managed to create the Transphasic torpedo's, and they work fine. However, even though I have increased Voyager's shield strength tenfold, one of these torpedo's will still destroy the ship in one hit. I think the problem is not in the shield strength, but in the absorbtion. I have noticed in game that however strong shields are, they can only absorb so much damage at one time before the ship itself takes damage. Is there any way of increasing the amount of damage which the shields can absorb at once?

I think you should adjust the damage the torpedoes have. Torpedoes like the Thud are too powerful. Shield cant help against 999999 Damage:borg:

To mod the shields would be hard. I agree with MinioN, just mod the torp or have the torpedo be harder to hit something with. Or the SI could be modified. It worked for the Soulwolf. It's close to indestructibe. Two took out a fleet of 4 Defiants and 2 Intrepids before I stopped the last ont with another Soulwolf.

the transphasic torpedo damage radius is so high it affects the hull too. the sheilds are like a outter hull with so much distance. the damage radius is enought to cover most ships with one blow, thus overpowering the "outer hull" or shields, moving to the ship hull. Decresseing the damage radius to somethin lower will help. But there are some ships that will just be screwed with the 999999 damage that the torpedo does. since the game automaticly changes certain damage radiuss, depending on scale.

also try the multivectral sheilding and upgradeing the shields to take the same amount of damage as the torpedo deals and have an extreamly fast recharge rate.
