There is another game that I get some enjoyment out of called The Farming Game. Frankly, it isn't competitive in the same way as Monopoly. Instead of trying to extract as much money from each other as possible in a fight to bankruptcy, you try to get to over $250,000, by selling grain, wheat, cattle/milk, fruits, etc.

I've become a bigger fan of Settlers of Catan. If you want a fun and addictive board game, that is it.

I never played stratego or risk.

I did however, like stealth chess.

So it's like you and your friends all separately playing the same singleplayer game at the same time, to see who finishes first?

There's some interaction, agreeing to share farm equipment, go in on property leases together, dividing cattle, etc., but you are capable of playing this with almost no interaction with the other people, if you just loan money from the bank and never draw any of the cards that require you to. Y'know, kinda like life, in that you determine the level of interactions you have with others.

I'm too insecure to share farm equipment with anyone.
