You may remember that I posted some pictures of various models I have been making (moto gp bikes, tanks, WRC cars etc etc) well here is the latest one, a M2A2 Bradley IFV. It's the first one I have tried out proper weathering on, I used some Iraq Gulf War sand pigment mixed with PVA glue and sorta slapped it all on. Im very pleased with the results, you can't really see it properly it's so bloody dark at the moment here in the UK !! so the pictures are a bit grainy. It was also the first armour that I sprayed with an airbrush, the others being handpainted and again I like the result. This Bradley is going to be the centre piece of a diorama I am making along with an M60A1 USMC MBT of a Gulf War scene. Got some US Marine figures to go with them.
Thanks mate !! Glad you like it

Looks nice, good to see it doesn't look like it just rolled out of the factory. Also do you have any plans for non-US army material?
Yes mate, I would love to make a UK diorama, but there is a huge lack of modern UK armour model kits available. You can get Challenger 2's and the odd Scimitar and Land Rover but thats about it. Accurate Armour make some very nice resin kits and have plenty of UK armour but they sell from 80 quid upwards and its just too much to pay for me. Also UK figures are like rocking horse shit, you can get a set of 4-5 US figures for about 4-5 quid but you can expect to pay about 15-20 quid for just TWO UK figures, dunno why.......
Thanks for the interest !!
P.S. I have a Leopard 2 A5 lined up after the diorama is finished !!:):naughty:
