I still don't get why it's the most popular on the forum. When I had FH [.66] there were no where near as many servers as there are for DC....

Who doesn't remeber the good ol' days of 0.5 ;). If FH wouldn't exist I wouldn't post here.

The most users were online at 1:37 AM at your time zone and how you set it unreal.

Oh and FH is IMO quite...overhyped, not as addicting or outstanding as how virtually everyone says.

Ensign RilesIt was the day a new version of Forgotten Hope was released (.5 if I am not mistaken, current version is .66, a patch was released just last week as a matter of fact), it's a popular modification for Battlefield 1942.

I'd often wondered to myself what had precipitated that.

I think that was the first or second release of Forgotten Hope. There had already been months of news and hype surrounding the mod.

unreal3xSo THOUSANDS of people were on Gamming Forums because of a mod?

:smack: Its not a mod, its THE mod. It makes DCF look like total shit. 260+ new vechicles, 40+ new maps, and tons of high res skins for everything. www.fhmod.org

One reason it has so many posts is because of how open the mod is to suggestions. It's practically open source. :p It also is its own forum. Most of the people who post there don't go outside of that forum. As a result it becomes a mini Gaming Forums.

I think FH is a "love it or hate" it game (mod), if you like realism and WWII you love it, if you don't you hate it.

Actually it was the day that America's Army 1.x something or 2.0, I can't remember which, was released. The demand for it was so big every file site crashed, including filefront.
