I didn't make it!
if u want 2 break teh record (yes teh), then give top computers away. I'll be there ;)-lol.
anywhoo, not much people will join UNLESS you give links around, browers, pop-ups etc.
RevenThat record was set after Forgotten Hope 0.6 was released on the forums, where the only download location was viewable from the forums. That meant that people from all over the BF1942 community were coming to the site. Now FH have their own site, so they don't need to post forum releases anymore. Don't expect it to be broken for a very long time.
It says on the bottom of the forum home page...
"Most users ever online was 5,147, October 13th, 2003 at 07:37 AM"
FH .6 wasn't released until March 2004.
Sorry got kinda bored and done some investigating...:Pc:
Correct, if I remember correctly Riles pointed out that it was the release of Americans Army that day. However the FH forums have generated very high numbers of traffic aswell and most certainly are in the top 3.
No! I'm Spamacus!

Capo CriminiWhy does this warrant a thread?
Why not? It's something new to discuss, and the forums can never have too many active users. Nice to have a large influx of new people with different personalities and ideas.
'GF statistics' Most users ever online was 5,147, October 13th, 2003 at 01:37 AM.
We can beat that:nodding:! Everyone who can should get on in 1 month, on New Years Eve. We need to decide on a time for as many of us as possible to drop by. Guests, if you read this: we need your help too! Help us out by keeping track of this and helping us beat the record!
"Let's beat the record!!!" merged with this thread "File Front :Most Users Online Ever".
Renamed to: "Most Users Online Ever? Let's break the record!!"
it will probably be broken when FH2 is relased.

Well, I just used '0.6' because that's the lowest version I know about. If any version of FH was around then, then it was probably that version being released which caused the forum explosion. Unless it's America's Army, which Riles says it is.
New years eve is a nice one! Only maybe a day before that. You could find me for such records, I love breaking them :)
How about the day after? ;) 01-01-06 FTW! It would be a nice start of the new year. :nodding:
If we fail we could always try to break it on 06-06-06!
