Ive added a secondary shield generator, and i want to know if there is any way to get it only to come online when your primary one fails. Is this possible at all? Any help would be great, cheers!
I couldnt get the second one to proveide any shield strength at all, i could do with sum suggestions. Its 4:50am and my head is spinning! lol
When you add the second subsystem uncheck the Primeary check box, that should (and I mean should, I'm not sure if it works) do the trick, it should activate when the first is destroyed.
Midaalder, just wondering if you'd made any progress on the shield thing? no pressure man, im just interested.
I wonder if you could have it so each side has a generator and they each project their shields at the same time. Does it work that way? Also, is that more cannon or not?
Well, the backup's are ment to kick in wjen the primay generators fail, with a slight delay to transfer over, but seeing ans we dont see this often on screen im going on part technical manual and part how i think they should be. Id welcome suggestions tho. :D
This is an interesting idea i thought id throw out. It may not be possible, but i was thinking, could you get your backup shields to kick in when your primary's are gonna die so you go from weak shields, to powered up ones, but not as powerful as your first one's. I think it would make battles more interesting. Any thoughts?
