Sorry to hear that, it really hurts when a pet passes away :(
I still remember the day one of our cats passed away a few years ago. My mum called them and only one came to the door (we lived in a flat back then, 2nd story), when my mum went looking for the other cat she found her lying in the bushes near te road. Apperently she had been hit by a car and she dragged herself into the bushes as close to home as she could. The vet told us that her entire back was crushed and that he could do nothing anymore, we then decided to releave her from her great pain and out her to sleep :'(
my cat was hit by a car the other day, but hes ok :)
he still has 8 lives left, then.
my last cat nearly died a couple of times from tick poisening until one day one finally killed him, we never really liked that cat but we still miss him :(
I would die without GF

Sorry to hear about your cat man, i remember we almost killed our next door neighbors cat, Lioki. He used to visit our house heaps and used to stay over and sleep in our house of a night long before we actually got to know our neighbors. I just left the front door open one day and he let himself in, and i walked out of the kitchen and he was in our loungeroom and i'm like "Who the hell are you?". One day when he was crossing our driveway my dad accidentally ran over his head. His head was caught between the wheel and the ground and was scraped along the ground for close to 3 feet. So we quickly wrapped him in a blanket and drove to the vet, he stayed heaps still but his meow was horrible, i still remember it today, you could literally hear the agony in his voice. It was about 7:00pm at the time, and we spent about 1 hour looking for a vet that was still open, and after calling about 12 emergency numbers on the vets doors we eventually had someone answer, and he rushed down to the surgery and we left the cat with him, and he said he had a slim chance of survival. They took care of him, and looked after him for close to 3 weeks, at which point we were both called (next door neighbor and us) to say that he was ready to go home, but he had less than 50% vision left in both his eyes. So we brought him home, and he's been fine ever since. We payed all of the vet bills, was about $2'500au from memory... for our next door neighbors cat, but he was fine after that. The neighbors moved away a few months back, but we still keep in touch, i think they are thankful that we didn't just leave him to die. They were willing to pay the vet bills themselves but we decided we should pay them. After that we had a box with 2 cats dumped outside dad's work, so we adopted them and were going to nurse them back to health and take them to the pet store or something, but they grew on us, and we couldn't bear to let them go, so we still have them now, they are going into the vets today for their shots >:*)
I love my cat as if it were a family member, because it is a part of the family. I am truly sorry, and I know I would feel deeply sadened if my cat died. :(
