Dear All,

I have searched the forums, and don't think this quesiton is here,I hate to repeat it if it is...but here goes.

I have limited scripring knowledge, and have been trying to alter the wepons on my soveriegn to match nemesis.

In ST X, the Ent's phasers are a more uniform color, and fire in relativly short bursts: how do i change thier color, and also... make them fire for shorter amounts of time.

also, the Ent photon (at least i think thier photon - i hav'nt seen the film yet), fire in bursts of 3...how can i make the sov fire 3 torps in one round, with a relativly quick reload.

I hope these are easy questions to answer, i hate to bug anyone...

Ok, To shorten the phaser bursts - In the MPE go to the phaser you want to change. Under the energy weapon tab, increase the discharge rate as required.

You can also set the phaser color here.

Torpedo firing - Open the torp tube u want in the MPE, set Max Ready to 3, reduce the amount in the Immediate delay entry to make them fire quickly. Increase the reload time to enhance the effect.

And that should just about do it.

Ok, well that all sounds great, but one tiny itty bitty detail...

whats an MPE?

MPE is the Model Property Editor that comes with the SDK, look in that forum if you need help with it.

do u hav the nemesis SFX for phasers and torps? If so can i hav a copy of them?

If you're successful in making the adjustments to the phasers and torpedos, would you mind throwing a copy of the files my way? I'm terrible with using SDK software (too many past problems). Just attach them to a new post.

In Nemesis the Enterprise could fire Photons like crazy. Any way you can make the Photons come out of the tube under the deflector dish? That's how it was in the movie.

Johnny23: Just use the MPE to add an extra Torp tube and place it under the deflector firing forwards.

Dear ALL,

in that case i will go learn how to use the SDK and all being well i will be able to provide the files. In the clip of Nemesis i have the ENT fires some photons in burts of three from the top of the saucer section, aft (by the docking port), so i wanna make mine do that. also the new pahser colors are better, and the way they fire is much cooler.

Hopefully i can make it so...

sorry this really has nothing to do with the movie....... but i have been trying to create better weapons. How do i change the color of a torpedo. I can change phasers thats easy but i can only get a blue-white color with torpedos. Please help thanks
