Hi guys I posted a while back ago about me going back to college long story short, I got in and start at the end of next month. I'll be getting my A+, Network + and others that I don't the accynomms for. I was wondering if there are any site that you guys know of that can help me, I want to brush up (computer wise) on a few things before I got back to college. Any help will be appreciated.

I don't right now, and I know it's not a helpful post. I know back when I was in college, I'd just go into Barnes & Noble for a few hours on Saturday mornings and study with a coffee, then try to implement the lesson at home. So, books?

I'm trying to remember the site my work uses for these trainings and it's not coming to me, I'll try to remember to look it up for you tomorrow.

Yeah books would be good, but I live in a small town so there really isn't a book store handy, So that's why I figured the internet would be helpful lol. I mean I'll be learning all this is month, but I figured perhaps I give myself a slight head start. I met the teachers and sat in a class, he explains things quite well.

Honestly? "brushing up" would be a waste of time. A+ and Network+ are so incredibly basic you've got a leg up on the class by knowing how to turn on the computer.

For most entering into this field, brush up before the test. If you are taking A+ or Network+ classes, those will brush you up.

So what kind of work can you get with just the certs? I remember when I applied for the local electronics chains, they want A+ just to sell hardware and maybe the odd error diagnosis.

It's actually better to have a cert when applying for those fields. I got lucky, I should have had a cert to have been hired, but I know I won't progress unless I finally get the motivation to try for a cert. Things have just been too bonkers crazy here to get around to it!

Keep that motivation up, Primarch!
