They said the water could engulf New Orleans. I don't think it'd be anything too but, I actually heard 10-15 ft of water could rush into the city. Most people are being evacuated or going to get into highrises, etc, to ride it out.

New Orleans is located on swampy land is right next to the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain. There have been numerous times in history where the city has experiances some form of flooding. Just because the city has ordered has ordered for 10,000 body bags to be shipped DOES NOT mean they will be needed.
