Lord_Exar_Kunwow...can we say Butch lady. Crazy...but was taking his life worth it though? so I take it she won't be charged with Murder?

I think it was worth it. I despise scumbags that invade peoples homes. No, she most likely won't be charged unless new details come up.

Record or no record, shit the way I see it if you are that stupid to break into someones house you won't be missed. He knew the risks.

Maybe so, but just how high is the chance of being strangled by a 260-pound nurse?

Pretty slim but people play the lottery everyday.

No one seriously intends on killing someone without a firearm. Knives are for intimidation (in the case of a thief) and hammers are just a stupid idea.

Beef FlapsO RLY? So what would you have done, invited him in for tea and discuss the issue at hand? Oh wait, he already invited himself in. I mean, WTF, the guy broke into her home, who knows what he was going to do. You may not think it's justufied but the law does and that is all that matters. One less asshole on this earth can't be all that bad.

Ofcourse it's wrong to break in someone's home, but there are people out there who kill people and who survive and a simple plain little thief dies. There are far more worse crimes than stealing.

In the end, you don't know the backgrounds of this guy. He might be a very nice guy, but is so desperate and has lack of money. His only option is to steal it..

But he might be a jerk too, dunno.

But getting killed because of a simple "break in" is just wrong.

I think her killing him was completely justified, who knows what he might have done. I mean if you are crazy enough to break into someones house with a hammer you probably aren't housing the best intentions. That is amazing though that a 51 year old nurse completely owned little mister burgler. xD

It's called survival. If you are not good at it you die easy. The background of that fool doesn't matter one bit. he was in her house without permission with who knows what intentions, intentions she was not going to sit him down with a glass of milk and ask him. she reacted and did it well. There might be more to the stroy, as maybe she did it on purpose and she knew him, whatever but until that is brought up I say good for her for protecting her own life. He knew the risks when he walked into a home that was not his, with, a, hammer. There is nothing simple about a break in, please.

I know it's easy to Monday morning quarter back but don't get caught up in it .
