I see people here who like join up yesterday and have 2000 posts! (exageration, i know), but jeeeez...I thought i had alot of posts for the short time i have been here, people who have joined in October this year have more! Spam?? or just REALLY devoted forumers???

I have had my rant....:)

[EDITEDBY="Mast3rofPuppets"]Changed the thread name. Yes my imagination sucks :p.[/EDITEDBY]

Less that one thousand posts for someone who's been here over a year is really not that much. People don't need to spam to get lots of posts. People can get lots of posts and have perfectly legitimate content in almost all of them. Take me, for instance. I rarely spam outside of the spam forum, but I've got loads of posts. Why? Because I have lots to say.

Tsk Tsk...swearing in a thread title...that's a good way to cap your post count. If you're active in alot of forums, your post count will climb, like Inyri says, watch the spam

Well it all boils down to if it's spam or not. I don't have a problem if people are posting much, just as long as it's good posts. Spam will get delited anyway ;).

I would be more concerned with reputation whores who openly state how they can't give or give reputation points.

Some people have too much time on their hands and dedicated a lot of time to these forums. A high postcount doesn't have to mean that you spam (spam is filtered out by the staff most of the time anyway, this includes the odd spam post of other staff).

You just don't hang around long enough in enough locations of this forum. ;)

74.5% spam, 24.5% lot of free time, and 1% quality for me. :p A lot of the older members had more of an opportunity to gain high post counts when General Yib-Yab/Discussion use to be more of a coherent spam forum. I see a lot of threads in the spam forum that a couple of years ago might have been right here, I know I have quite a few posts that were made like that...

LOL, creative thread name....I wasn't swaring was I? Well sorry if i offended some...

WOW Inyri Forge, March this year 5000 odd Posts!!!!! Well i don't mind if people make constructive posts...I just find it impossible to post that much in a short amount of time. Maybe i should spend more time OUT of the Tech Discussion. ;)

I haven't been posting as much lately as I used to. This time last year I went from 500 posts to 3000 in about 2 weeks :)
