I rarely ever got lost. In Kentucky they have a huge system of creeks in the woods, so it was literally like a maze. I memorized each creek and where it led. I got lost twice. Once by myself, and once with friends. It was scary by myself, but fun when I got lost with my friends.

I have only gotten lost once. And it wasn't even for a full day. I was alone but I still enjoyed it. Me and my family had gone camping and I decided to go explore a bit. Guess the rest. That was about 6 years ago.

The first time I went to my gf's parent's house (4 years ago) she took me for a walk in the woods. I asked her "you sure you know where we are going?" she of course answered yes.

2 hours later we ended up 3 miles up the road in somebody's back yard.

Not so much fun, it was pretty muddy.

LoL that sucks. Sure you didn't take advantage of her for the hour and a half, and then found your way in some dudes backyard 30 minutes later?:D Jk.

CrashI couldn't make it 33 hours, I'd be eating random berries.

...and die because they're poison...;) I would have never been lost at 9 year old for the reason that my parents tied me with a rope around my hands like a slave so I could not run away like the savage animal i was... they seriously tied me to a rope when i was a hands were small enough to get rid of them tough hehe... I always found my way back when i was lost. something like the movie home alone happened to me at 9 years old too i think,I was in a trip in florida at disney world, i looked away just so see the attractions and stuff that was going on, looked for my parents and tought a guy a few meters away was my dad, same height, same clothes , same hair and as hairy as my father. followed him a for a few minutes and asked him to wait for me, he turned back and I realised he was not my dad. Not so far from there i saw my real family and here goes the happy ending...

CrashDid you ever stay out for 33 hours?

I did once. Luckily the teachers during outdoor school didn't notice I was missing. :D The only bad thing was that the temperature went below freezing at night. I still did it because i wanted to live like Sam in the book My Side of the Mountain. Still, she is tough, both physically and in the head. ;)

Gén0CýDéOne time me and some friends were lost in the woods, and we had a fat friend with us, so we told him that if we didn't find civilization by tommorow we would eat him first. He started crying and he freaked out. Tons of fun.

lol, thats not very friendly :D I never got lost, except for a couple of minutes in a entertainment parc... why do kids don't keep close to their parents? I lways stayed in line of sight of my parents... kids....

Poor girl must of been terrified, she had to walk around in the forest, pitch black at night, on her own. Must of been terrifying for somone that age.
