Some people always look on the bright side of life (as the song goes) and some people tend to think negatively most of the time. But there are also people who are between these two types. Which type of a person you are for most of the time?

I'm always optimistic. I mean sometimes I am realistic in some things, but that is only when I acually know things won't turn out well, if that makes sense. For instance I wouldn't be optimistic about surviving a 10,000ft fall into a parking lot.

I'm a realist; most people would label me a pessimist, but this is only because I'm often brutally honest with myself and others. People don't like to hear the truth or to be told they're wrong or have been mislead by falsehoods -- they just want everything to be "alright". Understandable, I suppose, but what we desire and what we get are normally two entirely different things.

I'm hoping to get into a highly competetive job in the film industry, and haven't made any backup plans if I don't get the job. Now that's optimism for you!

My brother was going into film but decided that it would be damned near impossible to get a good job, so he decided to switch to law school. He reasoned that it would be easier to finish his film classes after he gets his law degree then it would be to go back to school for law after getting his film degree.

I'm not sure but I might consider myself a realist.

I try to be a realist, which does mean alot of stuff i say could be considered pessimstic, but i try to keep an optimistic attitude while not doing so to the point of beliving in highly unlikely things to happen. Mostly i try to see both how a situation could be seen through both extremes and go with the most likely to happen.

I'm most likely an optimist. Well I hope I am (Ha! The irony). I'm never like "ahh, im gonna miss the train or I'm gonna be late to the airport." I'm normally like "everything should go well and fine." But when it doesn't I don't run around screaming oh shit im gonna die. I just stay calm and work out the best thing to do next. :)

We're all going to die and that's it. The world is a shithole and we won't ever fix it. The earth is getted fucked up by humans. We humans are stupid.
