Overkill. Who doesnt love overkill? I mean, why not EXCEED GREATLY, what is recomended. Like my name Captain Overkill, i do love it  Examples of what sort of overkill i like to see... A... Pentium 4 5.0GHz CPU with 5 gigs of ram, twin PCI Express X800 cards, with 300GB Seagate HDD inside an ASUS mobo that can hold a hell of a lotta space for upgrades. << And this rig is used for word processing  I love overkill, and hopefull when the 5.0GHz CPU comes out it im going to make a PC similar to that next year. Another example of AWESOME overkill... Your walking down the street, a guy pulls a knife on you and demands your cash. You pull your OICW Combat Rifle, with wind gauge, night vision scope, 3 select grenade choice on him and say "Leave me alone" Yet another overkill example... 8.0 Litre Humvee, V12 are they? Used for droppin' the kids off to school in the morning  Anyways, the point im getting at is that i love to exceed the requirement greatly. Not nesescarily with my choices above  but generally just in real life. Random thread I know, but you gotta love overkill dont you? :naughty: :nodding:

In Rise of Nations, on a LAN game one day, one guy was sending a citizen into another guy's territory. They weren't enemies or anything, in fact they were allies. But Guy A really hates when his allies build in his territory, and so he didn't like this 'invasion' very much, and launched all his nukes at the solitary citizen. By the time the first nukes hit, the citizen was already clear, but he kept launching nukes until he finally got him. Why is this overkill? Well, figure it out for yourself. The worst of it was, the citizen was ultimately nuked just outside the weapons range of a single unit of infantry he'd been using to collect ruins bonuses. We had a laugh, anyway.

I'm more for underkill actually, I mean my computer sucks and I always buy games like 6 months after they're released (don't ask me why, i'm going to buy kotor in a few days  ) I always buys the cheapest shit you can find, look at my joystick, it sucks ass! My mouse costed like 10 bucks etc, etc, I could go on forever. I had money to buy a better joystick but i'm just so fucking greedy so I didn't (regret it now ofcourse). This doesn't only apply to computer things.

My budget doesn't allow me to buy an ''overkilling'' computer. (note: you can change budget with ''woman'' even though I don't have one, can't change it with inflatable doll cause they don't spend all your cash. j/k)

I'll definatly upgrade when I get enough money at a next computer generation, cause now, The only game I can play with no lag/lack of ''fps'' is *cough*solitaire*cough*

Over kill in C&C generals. Use 4 Auora bomers to kill one tank. Nuke a inftantry unit. LAuch a ton of nuke mig against one tank. Get a ton of nuke migs on inftantry and you won't see them land for a while. Trying ti think of some more overkill. Bf1942: I shoot dead bodies:lol:
