This decmber a group of us are going up to a paintball range for the day...but I've never gone. I'm really excited but was wondering if you lot had any pointers or tips or advice for a first timer?

But have fun dude!
After all, its only a game! :)

Yep that.. It's better to work in team and also way funnier.
Take cover because it sucks to be shot after few minutes.
Lol. Don't Blind fire =p It sucks and you'll waste all your balls.
Have fun.. Paintball is fun
Try to get good angles at your opponents. Shooting 1 on 1 is a waste of balls. If you want to disable the enemy take 2 or 3 guys that provide surpressing fire and another 2 or 3 to approach the enemy at a different angle where you can get a clear shot. That way the enemy is way to busy to react to the surpessing fire and you will go behind them probably unnoticed.
Ah, paintball. I wish I could try it. It's either a paintball gun or video games so...
Well, the one thing I worry about is exactly how much it hurts to be shot.
Will it be easy to sponge a paintball off a winter jacket?
Blind fire?? as in shoot with no particular target in sight?
The-Bleh-Bleh;4047645 Will it be easy to sponge a paintball off a winter jacket?
Yes as long as you wash your jacket the same day you played ball. If you leave the gelatine stuff longer then x hours you wont get it out of your clothers unless you want to cut them up with scissors. (I don't the X ammount of hours, but I always wash my gear immediately after games.)
SeinfeldRules;4047140Wear a sweater.
That's very good advice, those balls hurt quite a bit if you play it, wearing nothing but a t-shirt under your jacket. Especially if you get shot within the 3 meter range. I've had a couple of nice black circles on my body everytime I went paintballing.
