Hopw do i change the strength of phasors?
go into your bridge commander main folder, then into scripts\ships\hardpoints and look for the shipname your trying to give stronger phasers to, ie. if your trying to change your galaxy class phasers, look for galaxy.py (NOTE: NOT galaxy.pyc) open it up with notepad
and look for something like this

in this case, ventralphaser1, where it says SetMaxDamage(200.00000) change the 200, to whatever amount of damage you want, the higher the number the stronger the phasers, note that about 2000 phasers is quiteoverpowered, even for borg ships....i say 1200 is good damage for galaxy class phasers, so i would change it to SetMaxDamage(1200.00000) get it?, change all the phasers that you want to that number, or different numbers, whatever, ventralphaser2, dorsalphaser1 and so on,
note that Phasers.whatever, is a ship property, and should not be changed
for the changes to take effective, delete the corresponding ships .pyc file, in this case, galaxy.pyc, save your notepad, and start up BC, you should notice the change :eek: you might want to copy the original .py file to somewhere else as a backup...just incase you mess up :) no worries, it happens
