well i have a new picture i want to use for my avatar, only problem is that it is more than 100 by 100 pixels. Ne1 know how i can? plz post help soon
IMO, there is no way to use an avatar larger than 100x100 (at least for the regular members, I guess an admin could do that). Couldn't you reduce it to this size?
thats what i am asking, how. by reducing normal size its still more in pixels. i dunno how to reduce pixel size
What is that file? jpeg? tga?

You could always become an advanced member :p.
OK. Open it up MS Photo Editor (everyone has that at least... right?). I think you click 'image' (if not, just look in all the menus till you find this next part), then 'resize'. Select 'pixels' in the measurements menu, and type in 100 X 100 (or, if one side is longer than the other, just set that to 100 and the other will automatically resize to prevent distortion). That's about the easiest way.
ok...and if i dont have MS Photo Doo Dit? (ill check know but...well i havent seen it before). maybe a member is easiest?

If you have MS Office, you have MS Photo Editor. It's possible you have it even if you don't have MS Office. And though a member may be easiest, you really want to have to come running to them every time you have a new avatar?
just get any graphic editing program...and resize it...its really not that complicated

2. Open the pic in MS paint
3.It's in swedish but nevermind that, press ctrl+E
4. type in 100 in the width and height boxes
5. Press OK
6. Congratulations, you have now finished Mast3rofPuppets tutorial to Resize a pic.
Indeed, it resizes the pic...and it cuts it too!
