Hello Everyone! I_am_Borg here.
I am really pleased to announce one of the most unique mods/game replacements is just started! I am calling it the "Star Trek Bridge Commander Dominion Wars Mission Project". What i am doing is building a bunch of brand new missions for BC, which basically center around the Dominion Wars and the events in it. It will overwrite your original game missions, so you will have to back them up.
Basically, the game starts with you being in command of the Defiant (I'm sorry that there is no bridge for it) at Deep Space9. There won't be any wormhole, but you will meet the Dominion and the war will break out. Throughout the about 15 mission campaign (exact number of missions still to be determined) you will lose Deep Space 9, take it back, raid Dominion bases and fight large scale battles.
Of course this is going to take a lot of work and time. So, i would like to get a small group of people together to possibly see about all the implications of creating this mod. Now, i would also like to here all of your guys and girls feedback out there on exactly how and what missions you would like to see. What Defiant Mod are you planning to use?
The most Mission I want to see is the Battle at the Founders World between the Obsidian Order and the Romulans Tal Shiar and the Dominion. That would be great and a real challenge!

Nice idea. Youre welcome to use my upgraded HP's for the ships. They were designed to fight the Dominion, they are only allied ships at the moment however (Fed,Romulan,Klingon). If there is a ship who's hardpoint you want me to change, then let me know and Ill look into it.

Sounds like a great idea. When do u think it could be finished PS perhaps once uve finished this one you could try something based on Voyager with the borg and krenim ships etc

Alright everyone, here's how it stands. the following things must be done soon:
1. Anyone who wants to join the "team" must email me. 2. I would like all of you out there to tell us what are the key missions we should include 3. People who have ship mods that might work well in this game could you email me to let me know. 4. I would like someone who has made starsystem maps to contact us, because for the Deep Space 9 system, I would like to at least have something that looks like a wormhole.
Now, I have the synopsis of the first mission of the new "game". You start as the Defiant (I'm hoping 9of9 can let us use it) at DS9 with a few other ships. You are instructed to investigate reports of ships that have come over from the Gamma Quadrant. Once you arrive, you meet the Dominion. Of course the rest is to be revealed once you play.

Your idea is great but it's difficult to make large-scale battles...most computers can't really handle more than 10 ships in a skirmish, just because it takes so much processing power. It all slows down. Just keep that in mind when you're designing the missions...try to keep the number of ships to a minimum.
