President Bush (in my opinion) is the worst president we have ever had. State your opinion about him.

Wow... this is original...

We could have done worse. He's just too bent on unilateralism and conservative politics.

Don't we get one of these every 2 hours?

He's kept the country from falling apart, he's at least doing his job.

Do you have any reasons behind your opinions or accusations or are you another "we hate Bush" drone?

Well history will be the judge in the end. Granted he is making some unwise decisions and needs to stop appeasing his political rivals as it hurts us all and alienates his few allies - literally and figuratively. But thus far, sorry to say Ulysses S. Grant still holds the record as the worst US president.

Ugh, another blind Bush bashing thread.

While I'm not keen on encouraging this, I will say that under his leadership the Republicans are losing ground on both sides, to the right and to the centre (Democrats aren't left).

Don't care.

Whether it's a democrat or republican, they're all the same.

Politicians are very expensive whores. I hate them all, equally.

^ Damn right, they don't stand up for their constituents' views, its all party-line now.

I figure he's doing the best with who and what he has to work with. Consider all the shit that went down during Bush's presidency: 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, and so on and so forth. Perhaps without Bush there would not have been an Iraq War, who knows what Gore or Kerry would have done, its all speculation and hindsight now.

He's just a man trying to do his job.

That pretty much sums it up. Truman once in jest indicated that the day you commit to being a politician, is the day you commit your soul to hell.

In the US presidential elections the people elect a person first, party affiliation next. The Democratic and Republican Party still have clear differences in economic, social & foreign policy issues and it's not hard to notice who of presidential canditates are Republicans or Democrats.

Good attitude in trying to actually affect into things and also nice simplication & generalization of all politicians.

When do people learn that things aren't black & white? When the hell freezes I presume.
