A study was preformed which I was reading about today, this shown that the more protein heavy foods you ate the less you eat, so by this logic if you have two eggs for breakfast you are less likely to snack between breakfast and lunch.

This will hopefully path the way for overweight people to lose weight as they will feel full more often and won't eat as much useless snacks. The idea is that the effects of the protein will make you feel full quicker and thus not want to eat anymore.

This was proved by the atkins diet......a long time ago.

That's pretty wishful thinking, with all the diets, gyms, and at home workout programs out there, the only reason people are fat anymore is because the slobs are complacent being the disturbing piles of grease that they are. But mabey it will help some people, that is of course, if they're not too lazy to try it.

so, this theory is saying that eating that huge new york strip is gonna help over-weight people lose weight? Can't wait to test that theory(sarcasm)

ya it helps weight loss, but if you eat too much (and not use it by not working out) then it can make you limp because it causes pain in joints. its all about a balanced diet.

Protein builds muscle so you do put on weight. If you feel like snacking between breakfast and lunch you could just not snack!:rolleyes:

Makes your teeth nice and strong, specially when it is smeared all over them, aye, Marc?

less likely to snack between breakfast and lunch.

I'd bloody hope so. I don't know of anyone personally who has snacks between breakfast and lunch.
