Heya Guys and girls!,

Got a question I'm booking a trip to Reno Nevada, US. The trip times are messing me up greatly. One airline says 11hours the other 8hours or even 4hrs. So my question is I'm flying from Ottawa Ont, Canada to Reno Nevada, US. which is the real time? or I am reading this wrong?

They all look correct, just different flight times, stops and layovers along the way. My best suggestion (and I know it's a pain for distant flights) take the option with at least 2 hour layovers at the very least if possible, it'lll give you time to recoup on the ground, debark, maybe eat something decent, use a realsy bathroom, and board the next plane on time, especially if you need to get to the terminal on the opposite end of the airport. Again, just a suggestion and the times all look like they sync up well, just depends on which route you want to take.

Yes, it's all layovers and stops that are causing the increase of travel time, direct flights cost alot more normally, while stopping flights tend to be a bit cheaper since it's fitting two flights worth of people into a single plane during a single trip.

If you're flying with Air Canada, chances are you won't get there at the time you hope for.
