You young whipper snappers probably don't remember him, but Frank Gorshin, who played the Riddler on Batman died :(

I used to love that show, it was on at 8am where I live. Sucks that he died, but he really did a lot of different shows. sad%20%28frown%29.gif

That sucks. The guy who played the Penguin died a few years ago as well.

He was a little before my time, but Batman was one of the greatest shows ever. He will be missed :(

I never watched the Batman series so I am unfamiliar with him, somewhat to my regret. Indeed a shame though.

Hm. Yes, I was surprised when I read the news. I mean, not surprising that he got old, but just like, he's in my memory as an eternal character. Something that never dies. I even thought that the movie where Jim Carey played the Riddler, Frank Gorshin did that role. Eternily gratefull. He did some other movies by the way. He ones did a detective story-movie (I don't remember the name), in the '60-'65...

Its like all the classics are dying, first superman now riddler...ah, well there time has passed and all of their movies are being recreated, and possibly better than before.

I watched it in reruns, it was great show and he is a great loss. R.I.P. Frank Gorshin.
