‘Survivor BG’ contestant dies in challenge Reality has taken a hit. A contestant on the Bulgarian version of the reality show Survivor died during filming in the Philippines. Noncho Vodenicharov had just completed a challenge to avoid being voted off when he suffered a heart attack. Police reports say two doctors on the set confirmed he died instantly, according to BBC News. Like in the many versions of Survivor around the world, the contestants were sent to remote locations to take part in tough physical and mental challenges in an attempt to outlast fellow competitors and win the grand prize. The Survivor BG application form specifies that competitors must be “in excellent physical and mental health.” Vodenicharov reportedly worked as a film stuntman years ago. The 53-year-old mayor of Radnevo, a town in the south of Bulgaria, declared five days of mourning for Vodenicharov. The show was being filmed on the Caramoan peninsula in the eastern part of the Philippines. Recently, French and Israeli versions of Survivor have been filmed at the beach resort. The type of challenge Vodenicharov participated in when he died on Saturday remains unknown.

I would hardly call that "great" or laugh at it. >_> I don't know whats wrong with you, but I do also think alot ot reality TV shows are a waste of time, and I dotn think they should all be yanked, just most of them.
I thought it was funny, someone ending up dead on a show called survivor. TV is 99% pure crap and 90% of TV is "reality" TV so yeah all these reality shows should e pulled off the air.

Well I still dont find it funny, if I were you I'd take a good long look in a mirrior >_< and I can see you hate TV, which is ok, but many of us here watch TV, and there are groups of poeple that dont seem to want to do much else then watch TV, and get pulled into these kinda shows becuase they "can't" do anything much exicting themselves...

I guess we will have to wait and see if the candidates were properly tested (ea had a medical exam that was of high enough quality and extend to be reasonably sure if some one is in good enough health).
Either they candicate should not have passed the test (failure on the side of the program) or this was something that was indeed unexpected. Remains sad though.
Guess he wasn't a survivor after all!

Typically they don't let people with severe health issues on to these types of shows. Regardless I'd imagine most of them sign waivers to free the show of most obligations to their well-being.

That was dumb. You should be ashamed for even smirking at that garbage.
