This is just a speech I had to write for my speech class. The purpose of the speech is to inform the audience about three leadership qualities in a person, and I picked: Sense of vision, Willing to act, and Makes good decisions.
ME He was Attorney General of the United States, Senator of New York, and ran for the presidency. His name was Robert Francis Kennedy. Robert, or "Bobby," as his family called him, wanted to change thedirection that the United States government was moving in at the time. Had Bobby lived through the democratic niminational race of 1968, he could have been one of the United States' greatest presidents. He had an outstanding sense of vision, he was willing to act, even against his own family, and he made some important decisions which influenced the remainder of history. Bobby Kennedy had a great sense of vision. He worked to help create a better life for african americans. Bobby supported the civil rights bill of 1964 and helped integrate a black student into the University of Mississippi. In the 1950s, Bobby acted against his family's wishes and went to investigate the Teamsters, a major truckers union at the time. He joined the Rackets Committee and went up against Jimmy Hoffa, the leader of the Teamsters. After the investigation, Bobby left the Rockets Committee to help his brother John F. Kennedy run for president. Bobby was a successful compaign manager for his brother, and he helped JFK get elected in 1960. Robert Kennedy had a great sense of vision, was willing to act and made several important decisions. He was one of the 20th Century's top political figures. He was very popular with Democrats as well as with Republicans. What could he have done if be became president?
The speech is supposed to be a page long, and that is only about half of that. I want to add in a quote or two and add more content to the body. But, besides that, what innaccuracies or places where I can improve do you see?
