I pulled this from CBC

Reagan was president from 1981 to 1989. He will be remembered for cutting taxes, slashing government programs and running up large deficits, mainly because of increased spending on the U.S. military.

Much of that military spending stemmed from the strong stand Reagan took against the Soviet Union, which he dubbed the "evil empire."

Oh well, I'm from Canada, we had big-chinned Mulroney at the time. Bye crazy-Reagan :cya:

ya Mulroney was a ass he screwed over our country (canada) money wise....o well and I don't know much about american presidents really but I know that President lincon was tall and had a cool hat....

Reagan is in a better place now, because Alzheimers is brutal, he didnt know who he was or his wife! Well Mr. Prez, R.I.P. :'(

Well, he lived a good life. He was a two term governor of California, and two term President of our great nation, the US of A!! He was one of our best presidents, so here's to you Ronnie! :beer:We're gonna miss ya Mr. President, truly. :( :cya:
