Anyone else taking there SATs tomorrow? If so, are you ready? As for me...I'd say I'm ready. I've done a lot of prepf for it, learning SAT taking techniques and the like. I should do fairly well, even though I'm taking this early as a practice run.

I never took the SATs... in my half of the country we do the ACT. I find it amusing that some younguns on the east coast have never heard of the ACT. If you've done your preparation, I would think you'd be fine. I never did any of those exam classes or preparation and I got a 29 on my ACT. If you've taken the time to prepare, you'll do fine ;)

I'm taking two SAT II's and I've barely studied, they should be easy.

The SAT is a test you take as a way for colleges to determin how smart you are. You take them in highschool. There is a new one out that has an essay, but other wise its all multiple choice. I've only taken them as a "talented youth" program, but never for real.

I'm in 8th grade and I took them earlier, before they changed it. I got around a 750 in English and a 650 in math, so I did pretty well. Be sure to tell us about how the new ones are.

They're college tests in the United States. ACT stands for "American College Test". Since we don't do the SATs here, I can't be bothered to figure out what it stands for... ;)

I took them in seventh grade and ninth grade, and I took the PSATs this year. While they didn't count, I found them to be a valuable experience. I wouldn't worry too much about them, they are general aptitude tests that don't try and trick you. If you know your stuff you will do fine. As for the essays, I have to be honest, they are looking more for content and the thought put into it rather than structure of an essay, at least that's what I believe.

I took the SAT in the beginning of May. I didn't study (I've got books and online stuff )and bought Guild Wars the day before, and I didn't get much sleep, but I got a 1900, so meh. Taking them again in October. And SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. The test tells me I'm a whole lot better in math than english, so I don't know if I spelled it correctly or not.
