for those who don't know what the Scarsdale Diet is, its a diet what lasts 14 days, in those 14 days, you can loose easily up to 10 kg.

this is the eating plan

BREAKFAST - The same every day: One half grapefruit, one slice dry protein toast, coffee or tea.

MONDAY - Lunch: Lean cold cuts, tomato slices, coffee or tea. Dinner: Broiled fish, salad, one slice toast, grapefruit, coffee or tea.

TUESDAY - Lunch: Fruit salad (any kind and as much as you like). Dinner: Plenty of steak, tomatoes, lettuce, celery, olives, brussels sprouts or cucumbers, coffee or tea.

WEDNESDAY - Lunch: Tuna fish or salmon salad with lemon and vinegar, grapefruit, coffee or tea. Dinner: Two lamb chops, celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, coffee or tea.

THURSDAY - Lunch: Cold chicken, raw or cooked spinach, coffee or tea. Dinner: Two eggs, cottage cheese, cooked cabbage, one piece protein toast, coffee or tea.

FRIDAY - Lunch: Assorted cheese slices, raw or cooked spinach, one piece protein toast, coffee or tea. Dinner: Broiled fish, salad (as many vegetables as desired), one piece protein toast, coffee or tea.

SATURDAY - Lunch: Fruit salad, coffee or tea. Dinner: Cold chicken, tomatoes, grapefruit, coffee or tea.

SUNDAY - Lunch: Hot or cold chicken, tomatoes, carrots, cooked cabbage or broccoli or cauliflower, grapefruit, coffee or tea. Dinner: Plenty of steak, celery, cucumbers or brussels sprouts, tomatoes, coffee or tea.

In addition, the diet provides an alternative meal to be substituted for any lunch. It consists of one-half cup low fat pot cheese, one tablespoon low-fat sour cream with sliced fruit, six walnuts or pecans and a diet drink. Dieters who wish to lose more weight may return to the 14 day diet after two or three weeks. During the interim period, eat no more than two or three slices of protein bread daily and avoid sugar, diet gelatin or sherbet. Alcohol should be restricted to one and one-half ounce a day.

the Diet is rated in the Top 5 most affective Diets.

this is the wikipedia page HERE

so if you have done it, please tell me what your results were.

and others feel free to give your input.

This sort of diet will make you shed pounds but as soon as you stop it you'll put the weight back on unless you adjust your normal diet to compensate. Adjusting your diet properly would result in you losing weight anyway, so why bother with this shit? You will also lose muscle on this sort of diet. Your body will be cannibalising itself for energy, and fat isn't the only thing it will use for that.

Stop looking for a short cut. Get doing some exercise and work out a proper diet that achieves your goals in the long term while giving you enough flexibility to stick to it.

First of all 14 day diet is in my opinion bad idea...if you start to eat nrmally after that you will get more of those unnecessary KGS. What I advice is to stop eating flour food and eat less but more often. And night snacks are out of question.

if u know what Bulking is, thats what ive been doing the past couple months, so i have gained a tone of weight, now the idea is to use that weight from bulking to gain muscle mass, but the thing is, i dont want to go see my mates and girls and shit and look bigger, so i want to not necessarily loose ALL the weight ive gained, but at least a few KG's when im inn Aus, i will then start to train again, using a diet that will utilize the rest of the KG's

As I said, take crap of your normal diet now and replace it with something healthier. Instead of butter use that fake crap or instead of chocolate and crisps snacks, have some fruit.
