I am adding hardpoints to a ship model and am trying to figure out how to add the ship to the game if it came with no scripts. Is there a special program other then BCMP or BCMI to create the scripts in the scripts/ships folder(ex. Defiant.py). If there is, can you please post a link.

you'll need the mpe(model property editor) from the sdk on bcfiles under utilities in the downlods then you'll need to learn how to use it

I have the MPE, and I know how to make hardpoints files. But how do I make the files that tell the places where the textures and models are? That is where BC stops when I load the ship in QB.

open the .py version of any of them in notepad and it becomes obvious

I usually copy one from other ships... And modify it where needed.

Is there anything special that I need to modify? I just finished a ship and am trying to get it ingame. I really need some help.

The file name, and the first definition (beneeth the def line). Like the Name, Hardpoint and the 3 lines with ship models.
