how can i change that. i would like the tac cube and the star wars imperial ships to be destroyable.

do you have the .py version of the .pyc files???? or just the .pyc???

The best, and IMHO the easiest way to do this is with the Model Property Editor that comes with the SDK. Its a doddle to change the hull and shield subsystem strengths on either a .py or .pyc hardpoint.

Ok, open the .py in notepad and find this line;

Hull.SetMaxCondition(10000.000000)

The number at the end alters the strength of the hull.

The first section of the numbr (befor ethe decimal point) is the bit you need to alter, I recommend alterations of no more than 100 at a time.

Shield strength can be found under;

ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.FRONT_SHIELDS, 2000.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.REAR_SHIELDS, 2000.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.TOP_SHIELDS, 2000.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.BOTTOM_SHIELDS, 2000.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.LEFT_SHIELDS, 2000.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetMaxShields(ShieldGenerator.RIGHT_SHIELDS, 2000.000000)

This sets the initial shield strengths for each shield vector for the ship, again I recommend alterations of no more than 100.

Recharge rates are specified in this section.

ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.FRONT_SHIELDS, 10.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.REAR_SHIELDS, 10.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.TOP_SHIELDS, 10.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.BOTTOM_SHIELDS, 10.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.LEFT_SHIELDS, 10.000000) ShieldGenerator.SetShieldChargePerSecond(ShieldGenerator.RIGHT_SHIELDS, 10.000000)

Each line represents a shield vector, i recommend alterations of no more than 1 or 2.

It will be a lot easier to do this if you use the MPE though.

thanks. can some body tell me how do get the voyager in singel player to work whit its weapons and speed.

Depends what ship you want it to replace.

If its the galaxy, then just copy all the intrepid files to the galaxy ones.

IE delete the galaxy .py and nifs and rename (copy) the intrepid ones to galaxy.

e.g. rename the intrepid folder to galaxy and the intrepid.nif inside to galaxy.nif etc.

Be sure to back up your BC folder first in case it goes wrong.

where is the galaxy .py file ,i cant find it the weapons and shields\damage indicator is still a galaxy

sorry thats galaxy.pyc if you haven't replaced your galaxy with P81's (which I recommend you do by the way)

Just delete the galaxy.pyc and copy your intrepid.py as galaxy.py BC will create a new pyc when it runs.
