Happy birthday?

I know the feeling of 22 being old... It really isn't, but it feels like it is. I know when I look back on my life, I wonder where the hell all the time went, now that I'm near 23.

I've never understood why people get drunk specifically for their birthday. I understand drinking socially, but when the aim is because it's your birthday, it just makes no fucking sense.

But happy birth anniversary nonetheless.

Well... Celebrations are associated with drinking, and a birthday is usually a cause of celebration, so it's pretty understandable to drink on a birthday... Better than having no reason at all to drink, IMO.

I don't really like the idea of drinking either. Especially on a birthday. I just prefer zero (0) alcohol, whether it be parties (including birthday), or some other event, and still have fun. Yes, it's possible without alcohol. ;)

Anyway, have fun lad! Hope you'll have a good one. :)

My 21st is coming up in 2 weeks, I'm not going to drink, just gonna watch everyone else get drunk and laugh at their stupidity as a birthday present to myself.

:Puzzled:

What does communism have to do with me questioning drinking for one's birthday, and birthday themselves?=p

Communism does not approve birthdays and holidays in general.
