Out of interest does using Shorten words like "btw" or "lol" effect what you think of the person

lets see....a normal person's post would look like this:

a) Hi guys, i was just wondering if you need to be good to be in a clan lol

now, the other person's post:

b) H3y guyz, i wuz just w0ndering if u n33d 2 b good 2 b in a clan LOLZ!

now in example a), i'll just bash him for asking a dumb question, but doing it using correct grammer. in example b), i'll tell that ub3r l337 h4X0r to piss off and shut the hell up. so in retrospect, yes, it effects my opinion of them.

well, lol & btw are pretty much accepted. using total shorthand in your posts is lame.

also, referring to context; if you want to talk like an idiot, do it in spam. if anyone was to try and post something serious, like in the pub, using that quasi-sms crap, they'd be laughed out of town.

IMO people that speak something like this:

"does ne 1 no y r pc games r so slo"

...are pretty annoying and should be laughed at.

Although I could care less about people that use 'lol' or whatever in their posts.

well, "lol" "lmao" btw" those sorts of things are ok in my book..

but everything other than that usually lowers my oppinion of someone. if they cant take the extra half second to add two more letters to their words, why should i read the post?

i much perfer to see words that are spelled how they are ment to be spelled. it takes me extra time to read something that isnt spelled completely. "any1 want 2 go 2 da mall" takes me twice as long to read.

i could give a crap about capitalising. i rarely ever do it.
