I was watching the news today and they had this thing about video games and how the holidays are coming and ARE YOU GOING TO PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT GAMES YOUR CHILDREN WANT. I saw them advertise games like San Andreas (they never can resist to pound on this title) Halo 2 and Mortal Combat. I was just curious on how you feel about games and the ratings and kids that are supposebly under aged. I dont find anything really wrong with violent games or games with harsh language. It basically just the same as movies. I noticed when i wen to EB games to buy San Andreas they wouldnt sell it to me because i wasnt 17. Just a few months ago i had purchased DOOM 3 with no problem. Did they just start this or is for certain games? So yeah post your opinions about games and kids and all that stuff. Thanks
No. If kids were allowed to, we would see the videogame industry go to shit because of lawsuits; blaming videogames for a parent's child's own ineptitude or violent outbreak.
I say ban anything GTA related just for being GTA. Otherwise, kids should be able to get any game except for those weird adult porn games.
As long as the parents know what their kids are playing, then I say let them buy what ever they want.
So what is a kid meaning what age.
MY view on what games kids can buy. GTA: no P0rn games: no anything else: yes In PA there is a rule that people appearing ot be younger than 18 need to have parental concent before buying a M-rated game.

I think that as long as the parents don't mind, its ok. The parents have to know the kids maturity. The kids that are doing stupid things and blaming it on video games are ruining it, and giving video games a bad rep.

I think it has more to do with who was asking for your age.

I'm sure the stores are selling it to 16 year olds when they know that their not 17 or 18. I mean are they really going say to a 16 year old no you cant have this?
If a kid has sideburns, or doesn't sound like a girl, let him buy a mature game.
Otherwise, no.
