Who were survived Snowpocalypse 2010 on the eastern US? I live in Pittsburgh, PA and I measured 19 inches of snow, but the official total was 21.5 inches. The storm was the 4th biggest snow event for the city, and the biggest in 17 years.

I took some pictures of the snow yesterday, and I am working to get them up on Google's Picasa photo sharing service. When I have them up I will post a link to them.

Yeah, maybe in southern Ohio.

Here in Cleveland we got a good foot and a half. <3 lake effect snow.

My roommate from last year said people were overreacting to all the snow, but he lives up near lake Erie where a foot of snow a day is fairly common.

I added some pictures of a snowball fight some people organized today. About 200 people showed up to it.

We have about 10 inches here. No where even close to our highest but the most we've had in recent years

We are expecting two centimetres this week! Much death and terror shall no doubt follow.

Ain't that the truth. Any snow in England causes chaos.

I saw a strange thing last month actually when we had our 'big freeze', as they were calling it. A gritter was gritting an already gritted A road. The same gritter was then back later that day gritting the same road, nonetheless. The road itself was safe enough to drive on without 2 coatings of grit. It's no wonder this country was running in short supply as far as grit was concerned.

14" officially at State College, though it may have been closer to 12" at my house.

It's the most snow I've personally ever since (since possibly an early age).

I love snow.

I didn't really expect snow totals to exceed forecast totals, but I'm glad that it did.
