free mason isn't free unless you want it to be
I thought you could only be a Freemason if one of your parents is, or if you save the life of a Freemason.
An old friend of mine, warned me about "freemasons". He said, if you are offered membership, just turn around and run away.
He said that the masons were a secret group that bends the truth for their own gain. Which isn't that uncommon actually...
It is also possible that he just joined the wrong club. I can't tell you much more, since I haven't seen that friend since the mid 90s.

The age limit (in my town, at least) is 18, unless you are invited by an existing member.

Nah. I dunno about any of that. I know that if one of your parents is a freemason, you can bypass a lot of the entry requirements.
Can you get out if you want to? Or do they kill you like the scientologists do?
Crazy WolfNo, the Jonestown massacre. The one where people were shot. :(
They had koolaid at Jonestown too, right? The ones who didn't drink it shot themselves. Sorry if you already knew that and meant it, I didn't really understand.
I would go for. There are quite a few good connections to be had from being a freemason and hell, its a new experience right?
