I have a friend called Hannah. I'm nuts about her. I've told her how I feel, but I don't know how she feels. so far we're just close friends and I'm not making a move. here's the question though should I get her somthing for valantines day? and if so, what should it be?

Ladies love chocolate. Get her some of that for Valentines Day. But make sure its worth it. Not cheap nor too expensive. If you want to know how she feels about you, you should ask her.

This is hard to advise. Man she could just not want to let you down hard or hurt your feelings or she could have a crush on you but wants you to prove that you truly love her before she opens up to her or or or or or

YIKES

I'd be careful.

You might have the case of the old 'Friend Zone' problem; a bloke who is in mad in love with a woman but all she sees in him is a friend. For a visual representation of this - and a damn funny one - see 'Just Friends'. It'll explain everything in a much more detailed and humorous fashion. My advice is buy her something simple. A few red roses, and a small box of posh chocolates. Suggest a DVD together, actually, but make sure you're getting the approach that it would be as friends only. Of course it won't be friends only. Watch the film, and wait patiently. About halfway through, just CASUALLY put your arm around and gently pull her in.

It should work. It did for me.

Good one lol but I don't have to balls for that. What I'm sort of doing is holding my ground. I told her and I actively act as if I'm attracted to her. lately it seems to be going somewhere. Last night we were out, and her best frend sadhbh sort of wandered off with two guys, so we went after her but it was jsut me and her she was pissed but I was only tipsy she kept stopping while we walked up the road and I was like "walk ffs!" but I sort of woke up this morning cos it was obvious she wanted to talk to me about somthing. But I know for a fact she knows. but anyway I don't wanna get like roses etc. because iy'll be weird and then there's the whole social circle of friends who somehow know of everyhing that happens, and there will be stick to get there.... plus it's a wednesday which is in school but we do go for lunch togethor every day so that may be an oppurtune moment. thanks for the hlep ppl :bows: :bows: :bows: :bows: :bows: :bows: :p

Or just buy her a card, and write this in it:

"I love you..."

Simple, and straight to the point. I myself am using a similar idea but I'm doing it as a webpage.

"I love you" is a little strong to say if your not even dating.

Get a card and say "Be my valentine. : )" That way she can accept it without having strings attached. Chocolates and the phrase "I love you" both reek of desperation. A card with a "Be my valentine" will tell you where you stand. If she loves it and wants to be around you more then you struck your mark, where as if she accepts it and just takes it for what it is you know she's not interested without being embarrassed.

I don' t think that' ll mean anything: I do not know about you but I keep hugging all my friends (female friends) and most of the time they sit on my legs while watching TV...

Anyway about the "I love you" card I belive love is a word that scares a lot... About the friends that know everything: it should be like that and if you are a good guy you may even use this as a weapon. Ever heard of advertisment?

The finished work. She hasn't seen it yet. I plan to just casually bring up a list of weird websites, and I'll link her there.
