KadajSo in short, he got owned. His pathetic attempt to be cool by destroying a source of information, was totally stopped within a day.
His entire show is based on sarcasm. Did you never catch onto that? :Puzzled:
Here is what a Wikipedia Fanboy had to say. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvA2_wX1p4o
Don't go edit any articles, they have a template called Colbertvandal and will block you almost immediately. Their spies are everywhere. In completely unrelated news, I can no longer edit wikipedia articles for the next 24 hours... :lookaround:

 I can't believe they actually banned him, that is hilarious.
Good times, I watch his show every day.
I love teh wiki though, not very good for reliable information, but it is good for the basic fact-finding research stuff.
TurtlefuzzHere is what a Wikipedia Fanboy had to say. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvA2_wX1p4o
That, like pretty much everything on his show is made up. I hope you knew that. ;)
I love teh wiki though, not very good for reliable information, but it is good for the basic fact-finding research stuff.
Yeah, if I ever wan to to know a little more about something, I just search for it on Wikipedia. Like the complete list of baseball euphemisms for sexual encounters. :lookaround:
i use wikipedia all the time, mainly when looking up bands and video games, but colberts still cool
What kind of a sad turd would try to fuck up a non-commercial information source like Wikipedia? Lame...
didn't he want to change something about elephants? i saw it on one of his episodes...
The clip is attached in this thread, gnspr
His actions certianly weren't ment to be mallcious. But I could see how it may have casused a lot of people to go to Wikipedia, and change information freely. I could see how it could have created some problems.
I wonder if he'll mention it on his show tonight.
