marvinmatthewHis actions certianly weren't ment to be mallcious. But I could see how it may have casused a lot of people to go to Wikipedia, and change information freely. I could see how it could have created some problems. I wonder if he'll mention it on his show tonight.
Err, his next show is Monday. Do people actually take his show seriously?

Hey, this guy had the balls to do Bush properly. Every so often we'll see a general or someone get up there and mumble out some bullshit lines that don't mean anything, but he did a damn fine job. And that's his thing, he does take the piss out of politicians and the media, frankly they need the piss taking out of them. Because they sit in an ivory tower made out of pretty press releases, where even the critical news agencies hem and har around things and no-one ever goes for the truth. So yeah, I take his show seriously, it exposes serious issues with balls that have been ripped off a lot of other news programs a long time ago. Here in England we had a show called 'Have I Got News For You' (which imo is a lot funnier) but the irony of the situation is that these sorts of programs are probably the best political commentary you're going to get.

I realize that, i saw that episode, i didn't feel like watching it again:)
Erm, who cares?...
Stephen Colbert is not someone the majority (probably any) of us have actualy met, what does it really matter to us if he got blocked from a site about knowledge? he is not the only one who posted there after all.

I dunno, it's a hilarious thing. That clip had a very serious point yet being compeltely fantastic at the same time. I think the point he was trying to prove was that the truth can be fabricated and yet people will believe it. Amazing. Anyhow, don't read too seriously into it. I think it's just a good piece of TV.

Well, when I said "take his show seriously," I was wondering if people actually thought he personally believes the things he said. If you don't catch that, then you miss out on the entire point and impact of the program.
