Age restrictions are in place for a reason. I wasn't able to enter movies rated 18+ when I was 16 either, quit complaining.

Oh yes, Im going to go see an r-rated movie with massive amounts of blood and gore and then bring a gun to my school, Massicre 100's of little kids, then blow it up?:uhm:

I got it in to Saw 2 and I'm 15 and I hardly look 18, suppose it depends on how lax the age restriction is, and in my case, how mature your mate looks : p. Cracking film btw, I really enjoyed it. I got into a club the other week aswell with bouncers and everything, god I love having friends who look older than me...

Tumerok89Since when where there any rules or laws saying that you can't see someones head get blown off unless you are in the armed forced.

You are not getting the point.

I can willingly go see someone's head blown off in Iraq, for example. But to see it in a controlled enviroment where I know for a fact that it's all special effects.. I must have my mom or dad sitting next to me.

No you can't, you need parental consent until you are 18. But yes, someone your age can serve in the military.

I think his point was that no matter how much you wanted to serve in the military, you couldn't unless your parents consented. Similar to your dilemma with the R rated movie, hm?

Phoenix_22The thing that is worse is how you can be in the active military, vote, smoke, and do almost whatever you want, but you can't drink alcohol. :vikki:

can't rent a car in some states too, lol. i think in some states you have to be 23. but yeah. i think the whole "have to be 18" crap is pushin it. i mean sure, we've all probably seen worse stuff, but theres someone who the government has made up that hasn't, and if they lower the age, this person will, and they will die! yeah.... government... go f*ck yourself. it hurt nobody, and if someone thinks they're old enough to see something, by all means, let them take the repercussions, if they exist.

Some people don't think swearing and violent movies are bad... Me. Who is the government to tell us they are?

Didn't you hear? Being older automatically makes you smarter and more mature!
