Crazy Wolf;5170985But how would Dread possibly rub off on someone? Perhaps through close physical contact, an embrace, maybe?

I bet Dread rubs one off all the time.

Wait, what?

I love the Onion more than I love Peperami. This article summarises everything that I've always thought about this whole Young Earth philosophy, only it does so eloquently and less... inebriateded. Is that a word?

I want to chime in!

I adopt a very healthy approach to religion and spirituality. See, there isn't a bible near me, and Christians/Muslims/YetAnotherReligionThat'sRight build great big stone houses that block out the noise of their preaching from the outside world, so I simply don't care. They could believe that the Earth was seven years old and made out of milk chocolate for all I care.

See, they're not likely to convince me to believe in the magical bearded fellow, and I'm not likely to convince them to believe in the big massive huge explosion, so why argue? Why interact at all? Why even look at each other? They stay in their big stone building of piety and boredom, and I stay in my brick building of faithless sin and binge drinking, and everybody's happy. If I end up in hell - it'll be my own fault, and frankly I'll be bloody relieved, as that's where the cool guys are going anyway (why would the devil, opponent of god, make hell a terrible place for the people who went against god's arbitrary wishes anyway? Wouldn't he be rewarding them for sticking it to beardy face?).

People only bother me when they stand in my way in public streets, offering me pamphlets of nonsense and telling me how I'm evil. Do I go in their churches and show them the errors of their ways? Do I buggery, I've got better things to do. So follow that mantra of yours, "treat others how you wish to be treated", and leave me the hell alone.

Zamamee;5170508<3 the Onion.

I'm fairly certain that not even the most hardcore Christians still believe that the universe was created only thousands of years ago.

Oh, how wrong you are.

I've met such people. Only one or two in my lifetime, but they do exist.

I'm fairly sure that there have been posts on this forum from people that hold these views.
