I live in Whitby, Ontario, on the hottest days of summer it gets to around 40C, but I dont think its hit that yet here. I dont usually put any suntan lotion on, I always forget. I remember last year I helped out at a track meet, I put some on in the morning but it wore off early and spent the next 7 hours baked under the sun. I was bright red after that, and in so much pain.

I only put sunscreen on my neck and face because one time, when I went snow skiing and didn't put anyhting on, my face puffed up to twice its normal size. Ouch. So, I only put it on when I know I'm going to be out all day. And when I'm skiing.

I get sunburned all the time but they usually go away within one day and they turn brown after that instead of red. And putting lotion on is not for weenies, whoever told you that is a dumbass.

Well considering not wearing lotion when out in the sun for long periods of time can cause cancer, I would prefer to be a weenie. Honestly I don't wear it myself, but only because I forget. I do put it on when I am reminded to though.

here in nova scotia, if ya don't like the weather, wait 5 mins, it'll change! having said that, we don't get alot of sun-scorching days, but when we do, i prefer to put it on rather then walkin around lookin like a lobster and in pain!
