I mean if people can believe anything and pay people to find out their "possible future" then its like the same with middle age church who made uneducated people believe in their religion which "obligated them" to pay the church by threatning them they would go to hell... at the time you would believe in anything so you would pay... Still today you are not theatened if you dont get your fortune told... but you might fear not knowing a relative or even you dying in a near future... I heard a story about a guy who had a wife dying of cancer and he went to see a gipsy and he told him she wouldnt die and she didnt... paying the guy got him less worried but what would happen if it werent true?

His wife would have died, he would have been pretty sad, and the gipsy would still have his money.

Yes. If your wife died from a long struggle with cancer, what would you be thinking about; your dearly beloved, or that gypsy you gave a fiver to six months ago?

I don't really believe in it, but my mother saw one a while ago. She said that I would have Back and lungs problems, which I have. However, She said that I would be sucessful, which still haven't happened yet. If those things were true, I wish that that gypsie would have told her that I'd marry the hottest woman ever and that I'd live forever with her.

well, i DO beleive in magic. but i do not believe in most fortune tellers out there. for the most part it is all scam.

but life is far more rewarding and interesting if you see magic all around you. (ps, i am a fantasy writer so im like this all the time) i just wouldnt want to be in a world without magic.

TsoufelianMy friend paid 20$ to a gypsie which he believe that told him his future because he managed to guess his past... Personaly I am not superstitious nor do I believe in horoscopes or fortune telling... I think this exists to rip money off people who believes any useless lies... post any thoughts, suggestions, ideas, or even complaints here...

what a waste of money, he could have bought a cd with those $20

I suppose, so you are essentially interpreting the world around you from a perspective of fantasy (whatever that entails). Very well. :lookaround:

Apocalypse47not really, sometimes what they predict becomes true.

yeah. like with ojie boards. they really work its just that the "spirit" is not a good one. its some evil force that exsists in all of us. dont belive me? read "The Courage to be Chatse" page 15 the very bottem sentence. it makes sence and its as scary as hell.
