I swear alot, On games At the computer At school - At the teachers At my friends Just not infront of my family =P Other than my two brothers my older brother knows i swear and my younger one knows because i swear at him =D
I guess I swear a bit on games, but not a continual scream of useless blabber, usually after getting killed, or just generally in taunts.
I've realized I've been swearing a lot more recently. Most of the times I swear in frustration, but not everyday conversation. I will occassionally drop a 'Damn' or 'Christ' in a casual sentence, a habit which I didn't have a few years ago.
I don't see a need for it. All it shows is that you are running out of things to say, or you have a terrible vocabulary. Every once in a while(ie once every 6 months) something will slip and come out.
I'm British so stringing swear words together in a sentence is my natural ability.
Saying that I am one heck of a polite person in public or anywhere with alot of people so I don't swear at all in those circumstances. When talking to friends and certain family members (brother) I often have to emphasis my annoyance/disbelief at current topics/situations and therfore take it apon my self to insert various swear words.....
Swearing is something everyone does to some capacity or another. I don’t know about the rest of you but notice small children pick up on these colorful metaphors pretty quick as do folks learning new languages; how many of you learned curse words in a foreign language much faster than other phrases or words? Anywho - I have a whole host of curse words many of which are selected for special people I know. Curse words I believe help influence ones opinion or position on topics and I do believe they hold more weight with someone or a group when you don’t over use them. Example, if you swear all the time no one takes you seriously and assumes you are pretty damn uneducated if every other words is “F” this or that. However, when used on occasion to add, “shock value” with the intent to force/prove an argument/position, it can on occasion sway the intended audience or individual.
I swear sometimes: In games, when I break something, when I'm late, etc.
I don't like it when people swear for the heck of saying something.
I think Mary Poppins is fit.

I only swear when i need too. By that i mean something that has really ticked me off. I'm not the sort of person to just go round and use the 'f' word infront of everything i say. f this, f that, i f'in hate this - that sort of thing :vikki:

Agreed, and when I need to or can't help it in polite conversation I substitute with "screw" this, that, etc. or my favorite from youngest TV show: Barnacles.

You have issues.
You should have said this phrase, "Mrs. ____, You're a *wonderful* teacher, I have **learned so much from you**!"
*Think, "fucking terrible" **Think, "been so disgusted by the shitty teaching methods you have, Bitch!"
My point is, It's always usual to think of the negative thoughts to yourself. It saves time and trouble (it's a wonderful things that humans don't have telepathy). Give her a dirty look, and she will be baffled with what you were thinking for a long time.
