Maybe I have been up too late, but what purpose does this serve that is different that the other system which was free to anyone as I recall. Regardless, it's still a good idea. People don't need to be reminded of their loss by someone trying to extract money from you in one shape or another...

Aren't there already systems out there like this, free ones? Atleast i think here is (are?). The idea behind it is good though, though better would be no stupid phone advertising at all. Luckly most of the few calls we get are not directed at any person, hell mot often they don't even ask for your lastname, they just start their stupid little advertising talk...

Wow, that would be mean. But its even worse to chrge a dollar. That seems to be adding insult to injury. "Oh dear! My wife of 50 years just passed away... and I have to pay a dollar to the telemarketing companies so they won't call him anymore! Woe is me!"

"No I'd like you to come down and fit a new line, at my expense of course." "Very well sir, if we could have your address" "Down, just down, you'll know when you get there ."

Of course companies are still going to send spam mail after the person dies, even if you tell them they died.
