hmmm. my thoughts... well I play many games... many killing games, many illegal street racing games, many drug related games... But I still have half a brain to realize that killing, illegal street racing, and drug dealing are terrible actions that I wouldn't think to commit... people being violent starts at early childhood... being around violence makes you violent... video games, music displaying acts of violence etc doesn't show up at an extremely early age, comparitively speaking to childhood environment being corrupt... thats something people are around from the moment they are born... To sum it all up, media is not the big issue... it's the real life situations and corrupt environments that make people more violent... and thats growing even faster than the rate of video games... maybe you should take your studies to a different variable.

Video games turn people into psychopathic killers.

No shit for real I've seen it happen.

I too, do not believe that it is gaming alone that has this effect on children. This is why i have asked for your opinions, and i do agree that there are variables that haven't been accounted for, and this is why I wanted your feedback. I agree that there a certain factors like parennting and other media that contribute, but, these are not included in the study, SO FAR, but they will be adressed within a month or two, so please continue to reply, as your opinions and feedback do help in the process.

My aim is to get enough results to show that Gaming is not to blame as i believe that many people use this indeed as a scapegoat, therefore i have written on this forum to give the gamers that disagree a chance to, civilly, help me dispell the oft used scapegoat of "Games made my child bad"

Thank you

I just got done killing hundreds of people in GTA IV. I ran over women, men, old people, ANYONE who got in my path. Accidentally ran over Brucie too.

How does all that make me feel? Tired, because it's almost 2 am.

I'm with Stalker, except for replace GTA with Saint's Row. I'm not more violent than I was before.

If Saint's Row 2 didn't run worse than GTA IV, I'd probably be killing people in it as well.

Now is a good time to remember that bloody theory that supports influence from media and games. Saying games and media do not effect people are not completely true, some people are more mentally unstable than others.

I actually feel less violent and more in control of my anger than before i begun playing video games. Oh and that taser in Saints Row 2? Awesome.
