Ok seriously sometimes I wonder how am I still alive.
- So I smoke,
- I drink a lot, give or take once a week?
- I have a thing for energy drinks
- Freezer to oven food frequently
- Don't really exercise
- I have around 3 cups of tea a day, sometimes a cup of coffee
- My sugar intake is crazy
And I'm only 18 and I weigh about 10 stone. I'm average but I would hate to see my organs.
As I do Biology I see how horrible all this stuff is, daily. Its unbelievable what I'm doing to myself. Yes you might say, stop being a lazy sh*t and do something about it. Well everyone tries, then you have school, studies and others and sometimes you just say, I cannot be bothered.
I know I gotta do something, but yeah, its hard :rofl:
I'm not the only one either, we eat and do so much crap.

Ouch. That list does make me worry about your health. I do however understand if you search for an excuse, we all do. I'm not precisely the most healthy person either. Here's my list:
- I used to smoke;
- I used to drink extreme amounts of energy drink (V-Energy Drink preferred);
- I eat a lot of fast-food, includes going to the Subway a lot;
- I used to drink a lot of tea, not precisely very healthy either;
- I don't exercise anymore, although I used to do swimming and fitness as time filler and interest;
- My sugar intake was and still is a lot.
I'm 19 here and weigh 94 kg (~207 pounds), but am not virtually obese. Just average.
I try however, to increase my healthy intake as time passes by. I stopped with smoking two years ago, I stopped using energy drink completely, and I drink tea very rarely now for the sake of my teeth, especially since I used tea with sugar. Without sugar tastes grossly.
So yeah, I suggest you do the same, try to improve your lifestyle, as you're only 18. You wouldn't want to get diagnosed with diabetes and take pills for the rest of your life, or die early on.

Yeah I can start with the smoking.
That's the plan anyway, the amount of times I have failed with patches, gum and so on. I'll just go cold turkey. But I mean people do this daily, and they will do it for years.
Mortality rates must plunge in decades to come, and the diabetes rate has already boomed.

ItsChip;5589084So I smoke,
IIRC it tends to be that half of smokers die from smoking related diseases, rather than getting finished off by something else - on average ten years earlier than their non-smoking brethren.
And really, once you're past about sixty do you want to be alive? Becoming increasingly infirm.... =p
Fucks your health in the meantime though. You look at a smoker's lungs and they're like all splotchy black. Pretty much all the drug advisory groups agree that, if you're going to smoke, you're probably better off smoking blunts (weed).
ItsChip;5589084I drink a lot, give or take once a week?
Drinking once a week isn't necessarily a lot. It depends how much you drink at those times. Though if you are going to drink research tends to indicate that it's better for your body to drink, for example, 14 drinks spread over 7 days than it is to drink 14 drinks all in one go and then nothing for the next six days.
ItsChip;5589084I have a thing for energy drinks
@_@ Yum. Just be careful not to give yourself an irregular heartbeat with them - a friend of mine did that once. But he was basically replacing sleep with the stuff.
ItsChip;5589084Freezer to oven food frequently
Yeah. Only thing I can really say there is it's better to cook a lot of whatever at the start of the month and freeze it. When I was in uni that's what I did for a lot of my meals.
Don't really exercise
Meh - you probably won't feel that one until you get older.
I have around 3 cups of tea a day, sometimes a cup of coffee
I remember the Mormons, I think it was anyway, had a prophecy about how dreadful this stuff was to your health. But I've never seen that born out in any research, at least not as long as you're only having a few.
My sugar intake is crazy
Heh. I'm the other way around. Don't generally get enough sugar.
And I'm only 18 and I weigh about 10 stone. I'm average but I would hate to see my organs.
Being able to see your organs is generally a bad thing. =p
I really don't see that much wrong with the way you live. You might stand to eat a bit more healthily and knock the smoking on the nose. Perhaps take up MJ or something instead as a compromise.... But it's not like you're one of those 20 stone slobs who needs a motor-scooter to get around.
Ok well that has made me feel better.
The drinking. Let's say me and friends are on a night out. My usual would be a naggin of Jack Daniels (A naggin is the measurement we call it here, not sure what else to call it), and then maybe 2-3 pints. As you said, after that I do not touch alcohol. It is not in my house ever if that makes sense, only when I'm out.
The smoking and energy drinks is my main concern really. Monster and red bull and so on, they are so unhealthy. Then added with coffee and tea its a huge intake.
It's stupid getting worked up about this stuff and you may think I've some major issue's when I say this but every now and then when I hope into bed I'm like.......sh*t I'm not going to wake up this time :rofl:

I think I go to either extremes when it comes to eating. Some days I just eat all day, some I will eat a small 2 meals. I exercise a lot though, I workout at my house every other day, and I have stuff like parkour, martial arts, and dance.
although I think my sugar intake is a little on the high side, but I don't know.
