I didn't make it!
How did everyone get there username ? was it a joke ? a real name ? or named after a TV show / anime character I first signed up as " FIrefox NO1 "because it was my favourite browser at the time but I had Dread on MSN change it to Daniel 1989 UK obviously 1989 UK isn't part of my name :p Daniel on its own was taken unfortunatley. :(
My user name: Well, Ash (the ending part of my name) is me, it's who I am, it's the name my parents gave me from my birth (short for Ashley encase anyone doesn't know that). Anyhow, as for the "SupaStar" I wanted something catchy, and at the time I was "into" stars and stuff, - difficult to explain, anyhow, I combined SupaStar and added Ash on the end. Note, many see it as "SuperStar" - I choose Supa rather than Super to be different. :)
Edit: Dan, why is your rep so bad? (I've seen bad, but that is a joke)!?
I started playing BF1942, and was really into WW2 and stuff, and liked the idea of 'Blitzkrieg', which means 'Lightning War'. I thought'd make a good name, being that I was uber at the game ;) It stuck.
When I joined the forums, my name was "Mr. Blonde". Something like that.. Why? Well, my SoF2 Clan is named "The Mr. colors" and Mr. Blonde was me ;)
Later I wanted to change my name, since Mr. Blonde became a little old in my opinion. I called myself "Memorex". If have stolen this from a clanmate of me, he always had "Memorex" in his msn nick :P Memorex means something like "New King".
Got mine from the song "Wooly Bully" by Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs. I love that song...:D
Korsakoff is the name of my fav. dj... Real hotty too! /me sees everybody running to google :p
I registered to ask a question to which I knew there was a simple answer but I couldn't figure it out. I felt like a dipshit but I didn't think that would be approved as a username, so I used something that sounded like it: Dipship. :)
When in doubt, gas it!

"My nickname is a rather interesting one and people often asked my why I use it. The explanation is quite simple: One day I was looking around for an interesting and fun mod for the game Battlefield 1942, I stumbled upon the Forgotten Hope mod and I quite enjoyed it. I began making a map for it (Battle of Arnhem 1944) and decided to join the Forgotten Hope forums. These forums were hosted by Gaming Forums (since the Network hosted the website for the mod) and so I registered here on the 9th of December 2003. I needed an interesting nickname, FH being a world war two based mod and me preferring to play as axis made it quite obvious that I would go with a German name. Seeing a name such as Herr General-Feldmarschall Rommel wouldn’t be orginal I had to think of an other name. Fate would have it that in that same week I saw something about the Commander in Chief of the German navy (Kriegsmarine) Karl Dönitz on television. The choice of picking this name was soon made."

In all honesty, I have never realised that P was a P, I've always thought it to be a T :lookaround:
