Do you love it or hate it ? On my contacts list I see a few people posted that they totally hate it but I have to say I love it. There are some nice features added like in "appear offline" mode you can select to appear online to individual contacts which is great.

So what do you think, have microsoft come up trumps of is it the worst thing ever for you.

I've had it for a little while. I don't hate it, but I don't think it's anything special either.

It's just 'meh'.

I didn't think it had been out that long. I was only given the notification for it like, two days ago.

In my opinion? As usual, MS updated messenger and made it worse than the previous version. :p

It is pretty nice. I don't like how they replaced the block feature with appear offline to target. Now whenever I appear offline to everyone (so I can only talk to a few people instead of everyone messaging me) it doesn't work as nicely because when I go back to online mode everyone I set to appear offline automatically comes back.

I don't like it - it tries to hard to look like and have the same features as Facebook. I don't use the new look, I prefer the 'compact' view. I don't need status updates from my contacts, nor do I need to know when they last 'updated'. I just need a list of my contacts - nothing more.

I've got the new msn messenger on w7. It's..strange. You need to get familiar with it. It's kinda huge some way. The old msn was good, but this one, dunno.. Just gonna use it..

I've been using WLM2011 beta since it was released and am not deeply disappointed with it. The emoticons certainly improved and I love the Youtube-sharing feature. I also agree with Dread; I much prefer the compact view than the default main window, which is too much wannabe social network.
