Your cat is strangely unafraid of water. Take her to the veterinarian immediately. On a serious note, cats like cramped spaces. My cat sits in a basket sometimes. Never the sink, but they're both morally opposed to water apparently.

i doubt anything is on with him/her , cats like to nap in odd cramped places. Unless your cat is acting strangly (refusing to eat/drink etc/) i wouldnt worry about it. I tink i know who is the man of the house... cat wont let you shave or wash! haha PS: cats that like water, and swim in it out of enjoyment 0wn!

hehe, it's a she, her name is Gabriella, Gabby for short 2cats1bed.jpg Waffle is the other guy, he's a big fat guy :D 13 pounds. Gabby is VERY VERY skinny, only 5 pounds, she doesn't eat a lot, but I think she does it to keep her weight down (she was hit by a car earlier in her life so her hips are a little messed up, although she can walk and they thought she could never do that again)

lucky cat! Same happend to a cat of us about 2,5 years ago. The vet examined her and said her whole back was crushed/broken so she had to be put to sleep :'( . I miss shinga (her name, duh. meaning Lion in some azian language). But her sister is still alive (chika ,meaning girl in spanish). See my gallery for pics of her and the dog (my stephfathers): http://forums.filefront.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=95 small selection -click thumb to enlarge-: dsc00154_thumb.jpg dsc00118_thumb.jpg dsc00113_thumb.jpg dsc00110_thumb.jpg dsc00107_thumb.jpg dsc00106_thumb.jpg

Nothing wrong with your cat which BTW was very qutesmilie.gif Cats seems to like narrow spots to lie in, it's quite common to see cats lying in the sink..Often it drips a little water as well, and they like to catch the water drops, since they just like humans like fresh water the bestsmilie.gif Here's a couple of photos of my cats

So sorry to hear that :( they are members of the family. Luckily Gabby went to a no-kill animal hospital and they nursed her back to life! :D Waffle was there with her too. We got Gabby in December and were very happy, but we wanted her to have a friend so we decided to get a second cat, we borrowed a friend's cat and saw how they reacted to each other, non stop hissing, no batting though (both cats were declawed) (Gabby was declawed before we got her bawl.gif ) So we decided to look at the hospital where we got Gabby for the cats that were in the same cages as her, we saw little waffle (Flame point siamese, then called Zing), he was brought in with his brother when they were weeks old, his brother (a seal point) died very shortly after arriving there of liver problems. We brought Waffle home, Gabby hissed once, ate together the next day and were playing the day after that. They love each other and Waffle cleans her constantly. We are VERY glad to get them out of that place, it was BAD WAY too many cats and not enough room! MUCH to our happiness Waffle doesn't EVER hit Gabby with her claws
