whilst at work packing stock (a mind numbing job) I tend to just think of a million other things and the subject of Ghosts and such came to mind seeing I was still thinking on colors is struck me about how possible the spiritual realm is if you apply this theory to it. As you may or may not know color is a frequency like sound, differnet frequncies produce different colors which use the RGB (Red blue green) principal for us to see it, and there are alot of frequencies we cannot hear, and there are just as many we cant see. After thinking about it some more I also applied another theory to the mix, caterpillars! as you know they eat and build up energy to then make a cocoon to emerge later as a completly different creature. All through history stories of ghosts, demons and other planes of existance have been brought up, so I thought, what if people are like caterpillars, where death is merely a change of frequency and the body is just a cocoon. However you squish a caterpillar and its not going to still change into a butterfly so that pokes a serious hole in my theory  Anyway what do you think, do you think that these things do infact exist either by another dimention or possibly another frequency (maybe a whole octave difference) anyone have any other ideas? (my theory makes sence to me.... but obviously its hard to put into writing)

Not necessarily... If you smash a caterpiller it won't turn into a butterfly, if you don't it will, if you smash a human it won't turn into (nameless) at death, if you don't it will... In both cases when killed it could throw the problem in. (Did that make any sense? I know what I'm trying to say, not how to say it thouhg, I hope that worked well enough...) Then again, also, on the other side of the problem, one thing that might kill the whole theory, is that the caterpiller has NOT died when it emerges from its cocoon, it's only changed. If you get my point. Again, same problem as before, I know what I'm trying to say, but not how to say it. Ergh.

Nice little theory you have there, and I *think* I understand Darkness. Though, as Darkness said, a catterpiller may only be mutating (so to speak) rather than dying, then coming back as something else. So, yea, I guess that would blow that theory up, however, maybe (to twist this a little) people would 'evolve' due to natural cause deaths? - or, depending on the way they die, would evolve into something else. Say:

  • You die naturally, you turn into an Angel
  • You die whilst doing something bad, you turn into a devil
  • You die from an illness, you turn into a Ghost
  • You drown, you turn into a mermaid :p

Regardless of all this, it was the 'frequency' talk that got my attention. Humans can't see / hear everything, yea, we have a lot of senses, but we don't have all. Maybe ghosts and what not do exist, but at certian times, a freqency chances around an area, and they become visible?
